Independent Bookstore Day!

Independent Bookstore Day is April 27th! Help us celebrate the wonderment that is our independent bookstore culture in America. Bookstores across the nation are participating! Bring the kiddos down to enjoy crafts, games, face painting, and more to encourage excitement and happiness about books and reading!

The Bookman has several things happening that day:

10am: Local author Laurie Keller will be in the store to read her "Arnie the Doughnut" books. Followed her reading will be crafts and, of course, doughnuts!

1-4pm: Blues musicians Rick Hicks and David Schock
