Margaret Willey & Bob Burleigh Author Event and Fundraiser

Two local authors -- Margaret Willey and Robert Burleigh -- will be reading from, discussing, and signing their environment-focused books. Willey’s A Summer of Silk Moths, a Green Earth Book Award Honor book, is enjoyed by adults as well as young adults. Burleigh’s picture book If You Spent a Day with Thoreau at Walden Pond is perfect for nature-loving children, so this is a family-friendly event for all ages! Both authors wish to donate a percentage of sales to Wetland Watch, so a representative of this Spring Lake-based non-profit will join us to explain the organization’s mission and actions to protect area wetlands.
