This work introduces students to the methods and results of research in behavioural neuroscience. Although research with laboratory animals provides the core of the knowledge imparted by the text, the author describes many studies involving humans, including analyses of deficits caused by damage to various regions of the brain and results of functional imaging studies using PET and functional MRI.
